墨西哥科技人才培訓計畫

因應墨西哥政府於索諾拉州推動高科技產業園區的計畫,索諾拉州政府啟動「科技人才培育計畫」,選送大學生赴台接受專業訓練,期盼學成歸國後,能投入高科技領域,包括廠房管理、設備維護等關鍵技術職能。 

此次計畫自全州6,000名大學生中精選出21位優秀學員,來到本校(STUST)參加為期一年的專業培訓課程。培訓內容涵蓋三大主軸:半導體技術、電動車產業與智慧製造,並搭配中文課程與多元課外活動,提升語言能力與文化素養。 

除了課堂學習,計畫亦安排學員參訪高科技與傳統產業公司,並邀請相關領域的專業人士進行專題演講,強化學生對產業趨勢與實務技術的了解。為協助學生融入台灣生活,本校也特別設計文化體驗課程,加深對台灣社會與傳統文化的認識。 

此外,學校導師更積極與學生互動,安排週末台南在地文化與自然景點導覽活動,幫助學生深入了解在地風貌。透過豐富且多元的學習歷程,本計畫致力於拓展學生的國際視野,培養其跨文化適應力與專業實務能力。 

In response to the Mexican government's plan to establish a high-tech industrial park in Sonora, the state government of Sonora has launched a Technology Talent Training Program, sending university students to Taiwan for specialized training. The goal is for these students to return to Mexico and contribute to high-tech industries, including facility management, equipment maintenance, and other key areas.

A total of 21 elite students from Sonora were carefully selected from 6,000 applicants across different universities in the state. They have come to Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST) for a one-year professional training program. During their time at STUST, the students will receive comprehensive training that includes three major fields: semiconductors, electric vehicles, and smart manufacturing, alongside Mandarin language courses and extracurricular activities.

Beyond classroom instruction, the program also includes industry visits to both high-tech and traditional companies, as well as specialized lectures delivered by professionals from the three key industries. Additionally, to help these international students adapt more quickly to life in Taiwan, STUST has designed cultural courses to provide them with a deeper understanding of Taiwanese society and traditions.

Furthermore, class advisors actively engage with the students outside of academic settings by organizing weekend outings in Tainan, allowing them to explore Taiwan’s natural and cultural landscape. Through diverse learning experiences, the program aims to broaden students’ global perspectives and enhance their professional and cultural adaptability.
